Eric S. Brown is the senior vice president and senior program officer, corporate philanthropy for KeyBank. He is KeyBank Foundation’s workforce strategy leader and guides strategic grantmaking in Key’s New York and New England regions. In his role, he is responsible for corporate philanthropy’s financial management, risk management and communications strategy.

Eric joined Key in 1996 as a branch operations manager for the then Essex Investment Group in Rochester, New York. Since that time, he has held a number of positions at Key including retail investments business analyst, Key Private Bank project manager, database marketing manager, and director of marketing and communications administration.

Eric holds a bachelor’s degree in linguistics from Yale University, and serves on the board of trustees of the Broadway School of Music and the Arts in Cleveland’s Slavic Village neighborhood. Eric and his fiancé, Dr. Howard Hernandez, reside in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
