Wendy Collie

President and CEO

New Seasons Market

Wendy Collie is president and CEO of the 25-store grocer New Seasons Market. New Seasons operates under two banners: New Seasons Market and New Leaf Community Markets. Both grocery companies are certified as B-Corporations that use the power of business to solve social and environmental problems, while giving back to their communities and neighborhoods, and strengthening the regional food shed.

Wendy brings a deep level of experience in retail business, customer service, education and training, and creating community. Before New Seasons, Wendy was president of consumer businesses for Knowledge Universe, the largest privately held early childhood educator. Prior to that, Wendy served in various leadership roles at Starbucks Coffee Company for 18 years, both domestically and internationally, most recently serving as senior vice president and general manager for Starbucks U.S. Licensed Stores and Seattle’s Best Coffee Co.

For much of her life, Wendy has been a committed volunteer – helping people chart a path to their own success and happiness. In addition to serving on the board of New Seasons Market, she is on the board of the Greenleaf Institute, an international nonprofit focused on helping social purpose organizations develop leadership skills and opportunities. And, she recently served as a board member of the Oregon Business Association, a statewide business leadership group focused on ensuring Oregon’s continued economic success.

What Others Are Saying

This is one of the few events where all members of the social good sector are in attendance. With business, nonprofit and public sectors attending, we can dig deeper and have cross-sector conversations.

— 2018 Atlanta Attendee

The conference proved to be one of the most engaging and exciting professional gatherings of like-minded people I've ever attended. Although the topics, content, and presentations all appropriately centered around volunteering and service in some way, the sheer range of them was simply astounding.
