Calling all Conference Attendees! Let’s Take a #Stand4Service

This week, you join thousands from around the world who have come together to shape the future of volunteerism. You also have the opportunity to get involved in the campaign to help save national service programs, including AmeriCorps and Senior Corps, from potential elimination – joining the nearly 1,000 individuals and organizations that have already added their voice to the campaign.

As you may know, the White House's fiscal year 2018 budget calls for the elimination of the Corporation for National and Community Service, the federal agency that oversees AmeriCorps, Senior Corps, and the Volunteer Generation Fund. These potential cuts indicate a very real threat to the future of the entire volunteering and service community and our impact across the country.

On Tuesday, as we come together for the Service Unites Summit, we will release a Thunderclap in support of national service programs. Joining the Thunderclap campaign is a simple way to allow you and your organization to express support for this vital American resource during a high-profile event with a large social reach.

The Thunderclap is expected to reach more than 2.1 million across social media. With your support, we can further increase the impact of this campaign.

We hope you and your organization will consider signing up using your social media handles. In addition, please help us spread the word to get people across America talking about national service!

Thank you for your support, and we hope enjoy the Conference!

What Others Are Saying

The opening plenary at Conference was very relevant and deeply motivating. I feel the speakers had such a personal and emotional investment in their causes that truly resonated with attendees.

I walked away inspired, rejuvenated, and thankful for a wonderful experience. Thank you to Points of Light and the amazing volunteers for all of the hard work to make this happen and possible. I truly had a great time connecting with leaders from around the world.
