As the 60th Mayor of the City of Atlanta, it is my pleasure to welcome attendees of the Points of Light Service Unites conference.
The Service Unites conference provides civic leaders, corporations, government agencies and nonprofits with an exceptional opportunity to engage in dialogue that will address solutions to pressing community issues. I commend the attendees of the Service Unites conference for working diligently to be at the forefront of national and international service missions.
Points of Light serves as a wonderful representation of our great city and continues to set the standard of excellence through its service to our community. I applaud your organization for its diligence and compassion, and I extend my sincere appreciation to the leaders and members of Points of Light for your indelible contributions.
While visiting, I encourage attendees to explore the wonderful attractions Atlanta has to offer including: the Dr. Martin L. King Jr. Center, the Georgia Aquarium, the World of Coca-Cola, CNN Center, Centennial Olympic Park, Woodruff Arts Center, Atlanta Botanical Garden, Children’s Museum of Atlanta, National Center for Civil and Human Rights, College Football Hall of Fame, and many more.
