Inspired by Dr. Martin Luther King, this year's conference theme is a call to action for a new generation of civic leaders. Now is the time to seize the growing momentum for service and unleash the power of citizens to make a better world.

PRESS ROOM

Welcome to the Press Room of the National Conference on Volunteering and Service.  The Conference is the world's largest gathering of volunteer and service leaders.  It will take place June 1-3, 2008 in Atlanta.  Rapid changes in technology, demographics, and lifestyles are reshaping the volunteer landscape.  Service leaders need to stay on top of these trends to deliver results, go to scale, and reach out to tomorrow’s volunteers.  This conference brings together 4,000 of the nation’s top leaders, experts, and practitioners for three days of professional development, networking, and inspiration.
