Civic Fellows Leadership Exchange
The Civic Fellows Leadership Exchange is a new feature of the 2012 National Conference on Volunteering. Ten Civic Fellows sessions will facilitate the exchange of ideas, innovation and effective practices in a thought-provoking dialogue format. The entire series will include a range of topics related to engaging people to make a difference in their communities, and will be led by experts and thought leaders from throughout the nation.
Attendees will acquire new leadership knowledge, explore strategies that will help them to reach more people, discover new leadership strategies, apply innovative approaches in new ways, network with high-level decision makers from busiÂness, government and nonprofit sectors, and generate practical ideas and tools to help organizations increase their success,
These intimate exchanges will be limited to a live audience of twenty-five participants. To continue the exchange initiated at conference, and to engage a larger audience, the Civic Fellows Leadership Exchanges will be recorded and broadcast in a ten-week podcast series after the Conference. A tool or resource related to each subject will accompany each podcast.
