Inspired by Dr. Martin Luther King, this year's conference theme is a call to action for a new generation of civic leaders. Now is the time to seize the growing momentum for service and unleash the power of citizens to make a better world.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

Dear Volunteer(s):

We have a great opportunity we would like to share with you!

On June 1-3, 2008, there will be a National Conference on Volunteering and Service that will bring together leaders from the field of community service and volunteer management in Atlanta, GA.  Jointly sponsored by the Points of Light/Hands On Network and the Corporation for National and Community Service, the Conference will feature the finest plenary speakers from the corporate, non-profit and government sectors; more than 100 workshops on volunteer management, workplace volunteerism, professional development and successful program leadership; and meals and entertainment for socializing, networking and fun!

We are actively recruiting volunteers to help carry out the work of the Conference on-site. The work done by volunteers will be vital to the success of the conference and volunteer responsibilities will be part of every aspect of the conference.  In addition, volunteers from the Atlanta Metro area who commit to one four-hour shift may register to attend all Conference sessions for just $150!
